David's experience in commercial real estate spans three decades.  He has been responsible for the closing of a broad range of transactions, comprising acquisitions, dispositions and exchanges, as well as numerous office, industrial and retail leases.  David has an extensive background in land development, entitlements and vertical construction.  He has developed strip, neighborhood, community and promotional shopping centers, and has also had significant involvement in major office and industrial development programs.  

Prior to Highmark Ventures, David held senior positions with Vintage Capital Group, Westrust Retail Centers, Newhall Land, Deloitte & Touche and Grubb & Ellis.  David attended the University of Southern California where he obtained both a Bachelors degree in Finance and the Master of Real Estate Development (MRED).  David is a licensed real estate broker in California (BRE #01982263).
